Tour itinerary :
- Pick-up from your hotel between 7:00am and 8:30am
Pick up is guaranteed to be finished before 8:30. Tour start before 8:30.
- On the way to the Ming Tombs, taking picture of the Bird Nest and the Cube when passing by(not inside)
Attraction Description:The Chinese National Stadium which is well know as the Bird Nest is the main stadium of the 2008 Olympic Games, it covers 258,000 square meters can accommodate 91,000 persons, it's also enjoy the honor to host tracking field competition and the football finals during 2008 Olympic Game. The National Swimming Center which is well know as the Bube or Water Cube, is just next to the Bird Nest on the west, it has a total floor space of 50,000 square meters with a seating capacity of 17,000. All arround it's surface is semi-transparent "bubbles", this make it's look like the structure of "H2O".
- Drive to the Changling Tomb-one of the 13 Ming Tombs (which is 50 kilometers away from Beijing City Center, about 40-60 minutes drive).
Attraction Description: The Thirteen Ming Tombs are the best-preserved Chinese imperial tombs with 500 years history. Ming Dynasty lasted from 1368 to 1644 and 13 emperors buried in this area, every tomb located in different places about 3-5 kilometers between each other. Only 3 of them open to the public. Our bus will visit the largest and best-preserved Tomb which belongs to Emperor YongLe---Changling Tomb.
The sightseeing in the Changling Tomb takes about 1-1.5 hour. The visit to Ming Tombs finishes at about 10:45.
- Before having lunch (11:30 am), have a 45-minute short visit in the Jade Carving Factory. The jade carving is one of the most famous Chinese product, a blend of the excellent skill on carving and Chinese traditional cultures.
- Enjoy traditional Chinese lunch at Friendship Restaurant.
- After lunch, drive to the Badaling Great Wall (79 km from Beijing City Center, 20-30 minutes drive). The hiking on Badaling Great Wall takes 1-2 hours.
Attraction Description: Badaling section is the first opened, most famous and best-preserved wall in China. The Real Man Ramp is the highest point at Badaling Great Wall (888 meters above sea level). Every one is dreaming to have a visit to this ramp because of Chairman Mao Zedong¡¯s saying: ¡° If one man doesn¡¯t get to the Great Wall during his life time, he is not a real man.¡± Cable car (which is 60RMB/pp for a round trip) is available and optional to arrive the Real Man Ramp directly. The length of the Real Man Ramp is about 300 meters and some parts are very steep. Stand on the top of Badaling Great Wall, you can have a bird view of the whole section, the Title Sentence for 2008 Beijing Olympic shows up clearly at this point: ¡°One World, One Dream.¡±
- After climbing, drive back to the city. We arrange a free Chinese Medical foot massage for everyboda to relax.
- Tour Finished before 5:00-5:30, you will be transferred back to hotels in turn depends on hotel location.
