Visit Drepung Monastery in the morning, which is the largest monastery in Tibet, founded in 1416 by disciple of Tsongkhapa called Jamyang Choje.  Then Sera Monastery in the afternoon, which was founded in 1419 by Sakya Yeshe, a disciple of Tsongkhapa. The most distinguished and interesting thing here is monks＊ debating about Buddhism. Then visit Lhobulingka (the jewel park in Tibetan) which was the summer palace of Dalai Lamas.

 

 

Drive about 120km out of Lhasa, cross over Gangpala Mountain Pass (4800m above sea level), visit the second largest holly lake in Tibet〞Yamdroyumtso Lake; The lake is 4440m above sea level; The pasture-land nearby the river is one of the best in Tibet; Paved road, about 5-6 hours will be spent on the way; Paved road, 240km, round trip; Back to Lhasa and visit Tibet Museum; Live in Lhasa.
