Beijing Highlight Day Tour
Itinerary:

Pick up at your hotel between 8:00AM.

Visit Tiananmen Square, the largest city-center square in the world.

Move on to Forbidden City, the largest and best-preserved palatial complex still existing, also known as the Palace Museum.

After lunch, have a half day excursion to the Juyongguan Great Wall, Juyongguan Great Wall is site of an ancient military town which is replete with military installations, watch towers, official residences, temples, a Confucian school and other structures. The present Pass was initially built in the Ming Dynasty and received much renovation later. It is a very important strategic place connecting the inner land and the area near the northern border of China. The Juyongguan Pass has been known for its strategic importance for more than 2,000 years. Hiking for 1-3 hours. Visit Bona Jade Factory and learn about the stone carving on the way.

Return to your hotel around 6:00 PM.
Note1 :
- The reason we put a Jade factory in tour is not only to know the culture(the imformation there is welcomed by most of the tourists, and you don't need to buy anything if you don't like), we also can make use of the extra time (which is only 40 minutes) to make your trip cheeper even you buy nothing there, we also can cool down the car and the driver can have a short break so that the trip will be much more safer and comfortable. And trust us that the time in the sightseeing point will never be shortened.
- If you want to watch the Night Shows in Beijing, just e-mail us and let us know, you only need to pay more US$ 30 p/p to book a Night Show.
- If you want to have a special dinner, like Peking Duck dinner or Hot Pot dinner, just need to pay more US$ 30 p/p to book a special dinner.
- The reason we visit Juyongguan Pass but not Badaling Great Wall is in our opionion, Badaling is too crowed and 20km further than Juyongguan, and the trafic always bad in the 20km. Trust us Badaling is not a good choice!

1. General informations about Beijing Night Shows
- Peking opera : Peking opera is a national treasure with a history of over 200 years. For western ears, the Peking Opera might need getting used to. The story is sometimes difficult to follow. It is very colourful bright and extremely noisy and bears absolutely no resemblance to western opera.
- The Legend of Kung Fu : In Beijing you have the chance to enjoy fantastic "The Legend of Kung Fu "presented by China Heaven Creation International Performing Arts Co., Ltd. ( CHC) - China's leading performance art production company. The show is a must-see production in Beijing for both tourists and Kung Fu lovers. The show lasts about one and half hours.
- The acrobatics show : The acrobatics shows at Beijing are not to be missed. They are held each night and last for about one and half hours. An acrobatic show has become one of the most popular evening entertainments for tourists in Beijing. You can enjoy gravity-defying contortionism, juggling, unicycling, chair-stacking and so on.

- Peking Duck or Beijing Roast Duck is regarded as one of the most delicious dishes throughout the world; It is a must for most visitors coming to Beijing to have a bite.
- Beijing Hot Pot : In the winter season, when chilly temperatures and frigid winds prevail over the land, people like to eat food that instantly warms their bodies and lifts their spirits.
